The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Capital Portfolio and Governance team at our Port Kembla Manufacturing facility as a Project Administrator. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.

In this role you will work together with an established team and the wider Port Kembla Steelworks business to support the delivery of business transformation and capital projects into fruition. As we continue to partner with our stakeholders, you'll quickly become a 'go-to' person for system and process expertise.  

This essential role works Monday to Friday, with the opportunity for hybrid or flexible work arrangements under our B-Flex program

What Will You Do?

You'll be a critical part of the team by taking complete ownership and acting as central point of coordination, you'll:

  • set up and maintain capital projects in our Enterprise Resource Planning system (we use SAP).
  • clarify any anomalies in documentation with project teams in the business 
  • coach and guide project teams on systems and process
  • respond to ad-hoc queries from project teams 
  • administer our projects ordering system
  • administer our project approval workflow system
  • support our month end forecasting and reporting process

 More About You

With your experience working in a project or administration support role, that can be from any industry, you will:

  • have high attention to detail and the ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
  • display superior time management and prioritisation  skills
  • have excellent communication (written and verbal), strong interpersonal skills with an Ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders, and a positive attitude
  • experience with an enterprise resource planning system 
  • sound experience and knowledge in MS Office Suite
