What does the job look like?

As a Transport Allocator you will play a crucial role in our retail transport team making sure that our customer gets their deliveries on time every time. With your exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to multitask you will support our team by allocating, route planning and dispatching deliveries across Melbourne metropolitan areas. You will be working a 4x4 rotating roster from 4am – 4pm. Key areas:

Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders, providing clear instructions and building positive relationshipsMaintain accurate documentation and records related to manifests, delivery schedules and complianceMaintaining regular contact with our customer to keep them updated and well informed about their scheduled deliveries or changes that will impact themMonitoring drivers’ fatigue to ensure that they are compliant and fit to drive
