About the role
As a Network Specialist based in North Ryde, you will play a key role in the design and implementation of complex network projects. Within the 12 month contract you will lead critical initiatives across CSR's network systems, collaborating with teams to ensure robust, secure, and high-performing network infrastructures that meet business objectives.
- Network Design & Implementation: Design and implement complex network solutions to support critical infrastructure projects, ensuring stability, security, and scalability.
- Technology Integration: Oversee smooth integration of new networks and technologies, enhancing operational efficiency and minimizing disruptions.
- Security Audits & Documentation: Conduct and lead security audits, reviewing and documenting security baselines and hardening procedures.
- System Upgrades: Manage upgrades and patches for network systems within project timelines.
- Documentation & Future Planning: Implement and document both current and future Operational Technology (OT) networks.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Project Managers and team members on matters related to operational security.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve complex issues related to OT wireless, network, and security controls, ensuring minimal downtime and swift issue resolution.
What you bring to the role
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Professional (CCNP).
- Demonstrated experience as a Network Specialist, with expertise in designing and implementing complex network solutions.
- Experience with Aruba switches – desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, security best practices, and hands-on experience with network hardware and software.
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience in troubleshooting OT wireless, network, and security controls.
