Our Client, The Trustee for Liddelow Family Trust t/a WA SPECIALISED TRANSPORT (WAST), is a specialist Transport Company based in Maddington. They operate a diverse range of trucks and trailing equipment. They operate Kenworth, Mack and Volvo prime movers and Drake, MTE, TRT, Faymonville and Scheuerle trailing equipment.

They seek qualified Diesel Motor Mechanics who are experienced working with Volvo and Kenworth Trucks.

Applicants must:

  • Have experience working on trucks and Trailers.
  • Have knowledge of trailer suspension, brakes and other general repairs
  • Have experience in Hydraulic hose and ram repair.
  • Have experience in Hydraulic Cylinder re-sealing.
  • Have experience in Brakes & Bearings and Air Systems
  • Have knowledge of Greasing System
  • Have knowledge of Bush and Pin Replacement
  • Have knowledge of Auto Electrical work on trailers – Lights, ABS, EBS
  • Be able to read circuit diagrams.
  • Follow Safety guidelines.

Desirable Skills:

  • Spray painting including preparation.
  • Heavy Vehicle Driver's License

The position will require you to manage maintenance records, servicing repairs, diagnostic work etc. on the vehicles. You will be capable of multitasking, and organising tasks and can work unsupervised when necessary and pride yourself in producing high-quality work with good interpersonal skills.

WAST has Drug and Alcohol Policies in place and does conduct random testing.
