Mechanical Workshop Supervisor

- Monday to Friday 6:00am to 4:00pm

**The Position being offered**:

- Lead the workshop team in the areas of quality and productivity
- Following jobs from start to finish to ensure all work is completed in a time efficient and safe manner
- Assess underground mining equipment/machines coming into the workshop with team and prepare a detailed scope of work, including parts lists and repair plan
- Contribute to skills development of apprentices and ensure effective knowledge and skills transfer to less experienced tradesmen (Mobile Plant fitters/Mechanics)

**What we are looking for in you**:

- Relevant nationally recognised trade qualification (Mechanical or Mechanic - Heavy Duty)
- Experience specialising in various underground earthmoving equipment machinery repairs and rebuilds
- Extensive knowledge and experience in Heavy Earthmoving equipment repairs and rebuilds - Caterpillar, Sandvik, Epiroc, Normet, Volvo
- Experience in leading a team to complete required tasks
- Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on developing effective relationships and team building
