Are you a dynamic and innovative marketer ready to take the next step in your career? We're a market-leading recreation and leisure company based in Melbourne, seeking a high calibre Marketing Manager to lead our exceptional fly fishing marketing drive. 

The successful applicant will report directly to the Managing Director and work closely with other key department heads. 

Tasks and Responsibilities

As our Marketing Manager, you will be entrusted with a wide range of responsibilities, including:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and drive sales.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of skilled marketing professionals, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
  • Conducting market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive positioning to refine marketing approaches.
  • Overseeing the creation of compelling marketing campaigns across various channels, such as digital, print, and social media.
  • Managing marketing budgets effectively to maximize ROI and deliver measurable results.

Skills and Experience

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A proven track record of successful marketing experience within the fly fishing and related products.
  • Experience in the sourcing, importing and exporting of fly fishing related products, in particular Korea, Japan, China.
  • Must have detailed knowledge of factories that can design, develop and manufacture fly fish products.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and the ability to translate ideas into actionable plans.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in both traditional marketing as well as digital marketing, including social media marketing, SEO and e-commerce.
  • A data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
