The security team at Coles is proud on their successful delivery of customer-focused solutions. There are a lot of exciting initiatives on the horizon as protecting our customers, team members and reputation is essential to being the most trusted retailer. 

The Cyber & Identity team is accountable for all aspects of Information Security across Coles including Strategy & Architecture, Identity, Security Governance, Security Detection & Response, Data Protection and Security Services. This role will be based within the Identity team and will play an active role in uplifting the Coles' Identity and Access Management services for Coles team members, suppliers and partners.

About the role

Reporting to the Group Product Manager, you will act as a product manager for up to two squads in the Identity project delivery area, with a strong involvement in “what” the squads are building.

The role responsibilities include the following - 

  • Responsible for building effective relationships with project stakeholders, understanding objectives and business value of projects
  • Maturing project engagement collateral educate projects on Identity patterns and standards
  • Utilizes OKRs to define objectives and key success measures for their squads
  • Prioritising backlog with projects, partners with the crew lead to ensure the backlog aligns with the business and delivery needs. Frame product backlog in context of bigger picture of delivering value to Coles
  • Manages and prioritises backlog to deliver on their quarterly objectives and key commercial outcomes
  • Accountable for the results (customer/business outcome) of their squads
  • You will promote agile methodologies and continuous improvements while coaching and supporting the squads or teams
  • Coordinate dependencies and sequence the Epics and Stories to ensure the team's ability to consistently deliver value in small increment
  • Promote and support the team to become autonomous in their delivery practices
  • Fosters and maintains relationships stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment around backlog and priorities
  • Passionate about Coles and the customer problems we are solving

About you

To be successful in this role, we're looking for the following experience and skills -

  • A consistent history of delivering measurable results for both users and the business.
  • Skilled in translating business requirements into product concepts and solutions.
  • Exceptional communication skills. Written communication that is clear and effective.
  • Experience working across multiple squads and contributing to the Product Management Chapter
  • Experience working in fast paced environments and comfortable with change.
  • Skilled in working collaboratively with business stakeholders, analysts, architects and designers.
  • Ability to identify and prioritise work based on business value
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Agile methodology. Experience building and maintaining squad backlog.
  • 3 years’ experience as an Agile Product Manager or similar preferred
  • Proven experience working in Cyber Security, Identity and Access Management or similar.
  • Squad specific product knowledge:  NetIQ, Azure and CyberArk preferred
  • Highly collaborative, able to engage and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Listen well. You build consensus by default but can drive hard decisions when needed. You push the pace.
  • Tertiary Degree is preferred
