Job Description

  • To lead the Light Fleet team to ensure a high level of customer service through fleet related help desk inquires and the delivery of multiple light fleet capital projects
  • Provide operational and strategic fleet planning to ensure the teams fleet requirements are met in the short and long term
  • Monitor and report on all Fleet performance as required by the Fleet Director
  • Provide intelligence based advice to the wider organisation regarding expected life cycles based on the PM plans for use in the replacement of assets and long term sustainability of fleet related assets
  • Actively engage with staff and internal clients to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage, coach and develop the expertise of direct and indirect reports with a focus on improved quality outcomes and staff development

The Successful Applicant

Minimum five years experience working in an automotive fleet maintenance environment

Competency in SAP Maintenance Management module (user / administrator)

Experience in workshop planning and scheduling

Demonstrated people management skills and leadership in the area of operation
