What You’ll Do

As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Manager Human Resources to execute our people strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational goals, fostering a positive work culture, driving employee engagement, and supporting the achievement of our operational goals. 

In this role, you will drive change and influence by: 

• Leading the Human Resource function at our Curragh Complex including site accommodation and administration teams
• Manage and resolve employee relations grievances and concerns to minimise disruptive industrial relations outcomes 
• Implement performance planning and review and talent and succession processes across the business to build the capability within the organisation
• Manage accommodation portfolio, ensuring adequate residential and village style options for Employees and Contractors
• Represent and lead community initiatives in the Blackwater and central highlands region, partnering with external stakeholders 
• Implement best practices in performance management, career development, and succession planning to support employee growth and development.
• Lead and Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the organisation, fostering an environment where all employees feel valued, respected, and empowered.
• Lead HR operations and compliance, ensuring adherence to employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Manage the HR budget and ensure cost-effective HR operations
• Collaborate with senior management to drive a culture of high performance and continuous improvement  

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for a results-oriented leader who can influence and build positive relationships.

Key to your success will be your:

• Experience leading a HR operations team, preferably in the mining or heavy industry sector
• Proven capability in leading the implementation of various people and culture initiatives, encompassing employee and industrial relations, leadership, performance and engagement.
• Strong leadership skills managing people dispersed across multiple locations
• Demonstrated ability to engage with senior stakeholders effectively will be essential as will be your capability and willingness to be hands-on and operationally focussed.
• Demonstrated commercial acumen to make sound decisions fostering performance.
• A degree in Human Resource Management, Organisational Psychology, or a related field is desirable 
• Self-motivation, drive and resilience are essential and you will be highly-skilled in influencing, negotiating, gaining credibility and building relationships 

This is a Monday to Friday role with potential flexible work options
Residential, FIFO (company funded) & DIDO options available.
