About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Technology Desktop Support Officer for a permanent position at our mine site in Blackwater. You will become an integral member of the Technology team, reporting to the Superintendent, Service Delivery. In this role, you will provide first-level application and desktop hardware support to internal employees and stakeholders located at the mine site, corporate office, and remote users.

Your role will be interesting and varied, and will include:

• Delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers of the Technology team at the mine site.
• Communicating technology knowledge and best practices effectively to influence people and deliver superior outcomes.
• Identifying and recommending opportunities to improve costs and efficiencies through the utilization of technology.
• Managing technology assets at the mine site to ensure we are getting value from the investment.

What You'll Bring Key to your success will be:

• An Information Communications Technology tertiary qualification or industry accreditation, desirable, along with at least one year of experience in an IT Helpdesk role.
• Advanced skills across a suite of Microsoft technologies including, but not limited to, Active Directory, Operating Systems, and Office 365, and an aptitude to further develop business application knowledge.
• The ability to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail in all areas of IT support.
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer service focus.
