Your opportunity

At Scentre Group, we’re known to be a leader within retail property. An interesting part of our business is our Embedded Networks and Energy Team, which manage the energy requirements for our destinations to power HVAC, lighting, vertical transport, and key infrastructure. We also on-sell the supply of energy to our retailers.

As an Energy Customer Billing Analyst, you will be an integral part of the Energy Team, responsible for managing the needs of our customers. You will add value to the business through managing the investigation and resolution of all customer enquiries.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Daily management of the operation and maintenance of retail billing and settlement systems and all associated processes and tools to ensure they are efficient, timely and accurate.
  • Investigating, resolving and/or escalating customer enquiries.
  • Coordinating with energy service providers for issue resolution.
  • Supporting development of customer offers and contract management.
  • Running operational and regulatory application processes for new connections.
  • Maintaining contract record.

What will set you apart from the rest?

We are looking for a team player with strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making capabilities to join our fast-paced team. You will also have:

  • Experience in finance or energy administration.
  • Energy/utility billing or similar experience preferred.
  • The ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and work effectively under pressure with multiple deliverables.
  • Experience in a customer relations role, including dealing with challenging customers, negotiation and issue resolution.
  • Advanced MS Office application skills.
