Are you a forward-thinking Merchandise Planner ready to make an impact? At Blue Illusion, where creativity meets strategy, we’re seeking an experienced senior planner to help enhance processes and close gaps within our Planning and Buying team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative environment while working alongside our Buyer and Design team on a focused portfolio.

This 3-6 month Fixed-Term, Project Role is Full-Time based at our vibrant St Kilda Retail Support Centre.

Join a team that nurtures talent and empowers individuals to grow their planning and leadership skills. Your expertise will drive inventory optimisation, demand forecasting, and profitability maximisation. Collaborating with our product team, you’ll also identify emerging markets and innovative opportunities that set us apart from the competition.

Your Responsibilities

- Review current trading packs & work with the team to streamline or build on current packs to enable better decision making

- Work with the Buyer to set up Monday report framework & commentary packs

- Work with Regionals, VM & Property to develop store inventory targets and density planning

- Investigate current Allocation process with the Allocator helping to develop better ways of working & identify system limitations & potential solutions

- Using your experience with Allocations & Replenishment assist in training & developing the Allocator

- Work with the Planner on Key Item Planning reporting & processes to support them in maintaining 95% availability

- Review store level performance & make recommendations for changes to current grading with a focus on concession store ranges.

- Develop robust How to Guides for processes & reporting

What We’re Looking For

- 2-3 years of experience in a Senior Merchandise Planning role within Retail/Apparel Industry.

- Strong understanding of inventory management within Retail/Apparel Industry.

- High attention to detail and advanced analytical skills.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

- Advanced skill and understanding in Excel

- Problem-solving expertise and resolution skills.

- Ability to thrive in both collaborative team environments and independent settings.
