About Broome Out of School Care Children’s Activities (BOSCCA)

Established to serve families in Broome, BOSCCA provides exceptional Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) for children aged 5-12. Our mission is to support and enhance the development of children through engaging, play-based programs that inspire learning, creativity, and independence.

About the Opportunity

BOSCCA is looking for a part-time Early Childhood Educator based in Broome, WA.

Reporting to the OSHC Coordinator, you will be responsible for contributing to the planning and delivery of high-quality educational programs that foster children’s growth and well-being.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with the smooth running of OSHC programs for children aged 5-12
  • Facilitating and extending each child's learning using the My Time Our Place framework
  • Contributing to planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs to ensure inclusivity and child-focused outcomes
  • Building positive relationships with children, families, and staff
  • Ensuring children’s health and safety, including managing allergies, first aid, and supervision
  • Adhering to relevant legislation, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe and effective learning environment
  • Maintaining clear, professional communication with all stakeholders

About You

To qualify, you will need to be working towards or have a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent). A valid Working with Children Check, Child Protection Training, and current First Aid certification will also be required.

Additionally, you will need demonstrated knowledge of My Time Our Place framework and relevant regulations.
