About the Role

The Education Research Fellow at the Melbourne Children’s Campus will develop a strategic approach to Health Professional Education (HPE) research, reporting to the Academic Lead of the Education Hub.

This role involves facilitating collaborative research initiatives, supporting grant applications, and translating research outcomes into practice across the integrated campus network.

Your responsibilities will include:

Provide teaching or coaching around HPE research methodology and approaches to staff, trainees, or students on the Melbourne Children's Campus. Undertake or contribute to the design, conduct or reporting of Health Professional Education research on the Melbourne Children's Campus. Identify opportunities for and support the development of grant applications for HPE research on Campus. Administrative functions related to academic duties.

Who We Are Looking For
You will have highly developed interpersonal skills with the capacity to interact positively and communicate effectively and in a timely manner with clinical and academic colleagues, support staff, and students. You will bring your ability to work as a part of a team to achieve excellent educational outcomes.

You will also have:

AHPRA registration in Australia where required (or eligible for medical registration in Australia) or eligibility for an appropriate professional body membership. A higher degree in Health Professional Education, Research, or current enrolment in a qualification. An accredited qualification in one of the health professions (across Allied Health, Nursing or Medicine).
