About us

Legal Aid NSW helps people with their legal problems. We can help people with most areas of criminal law, family law and every day civil law legal issues. We give legal advice, help at court and do family dispute resolution. We can do this over the telephone or at one of our 27 offices.

About the Role

The Assistant Office Manager will support the Office Manager in the provision of a broad range of administrative and complex client service functions to support the legal service delivery and providing ongoing support, training, and guidance to the Legal Support Officer (LSO) team.

About you

You will have experience in:

working in a busy environment, training and supervising staff, meeting tight deadlines and managing conflicting priorities effectively, delegation of tasks to meet service delivery.

You will be a good communicator with the ability to support and assist the Office Manager in order to meet the requirements of the role. Ideally, you will be someone who is highly organised and systematic in their approach to work. You will be proactive and enthusiastic about taking on varied tasks, in addition to being reliable and transparent in all aspects of your work.
