Ecommerce Account Manager

This is an exciting position for a person with an out-going personality and ability to learn all things ecommerce

You’ll be trained by one of our Channel Managers and have the opportunity to coordinate across Channel Teams, as you develop and grow our key clients. This means you will be able to build strong relationships with our clients to identify opportunities for business growth.

The role is so much more than Account Management – it requires your broad skills to deliver exceptional service, build strong relationships, drive sales targets as well as being able to identify issues then deliver the most appropriate solutions. You’ll be able to curate strategies for managing and further developing the key client accounts and with your strong data skills you’ll be able to drill down into the details and find the information that resonates with our clients.

The Exciting Role:

  • Understand your channel clients' business objectives, challenges, and goals, and provide tailored solutions to meet their customer's needs.
  • Regularly communicate with channels to provide updates, gather feedback and data, and ensure their satisfaction with our services.
  • Analyse channels ecommerce performance data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify market trends and opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyse ecommerce KPIs and metrics to measure the success of implemented strategies.
  • Proactively identify and address potential issues that may impact channels operations, offering prompt solutions to mitigate negative effects.

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven around 2 years' experience in a sales and client management position, preferably in the ecommerce industry.
  • Strong understanding of marketplaces, online sales strategies and ecommerce platforms
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data- driven recommendations.
  • Problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to addressing operational challenges.
  • Proficiency in ecommerce platforms and tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
  • Detail focused - data is at the core of our operations so requires attention to detail
