Assistant Project Manager

Some of the key specifications in our Project Management team include:
- Preparation and maintenance of project governance and administration documentation.
- Track project progress and provide regular reports on project status to project team and key stakeholders.
- Develop a project programme, monitor progress and communicate with project stakeholders.
- Identify project risks, implement mitigations, review and amend as required to ensure project targets are achieved.
- Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders.
- T&T safety on projects checklist to ensure compliance.
- Assisting the Senior Project Manager and Project Director with tasks such as; cost reporting, program, service provider performance monitoring, risk register updates, quality assurance etc.
- Assisting with contractual work including procurement and editing documents.
- Liaison with client departments and other service providers to help co-ordinate all efforts in keeping the program on track.
- Tender research, collating potential bid work.
- Assistance with bids for future work in the region, including bid plans and liaison with the risk team.
Qualifications
- A recognised Degree or equivalent qualification relating to a technical field: Construction Management or Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, Cost Management or relatable trade experience.
- 1 – 4 years project management experience (ideally client side/consulting).
- Experience in health sector is an added advantage.
- Ability to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced environment.
- Advanced Microsoft skills are essential and Primavera skills will be highly regarded.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and writing skills.
- Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your client.
