Project Manager

- Developing working relationships, problem solving and driving projects to successful completion
- Proactively managing the design process to achieve the client's requirements and manage expectations
- Responsible for preparation of project management plans, programs, budgets and other key project deliverables
- Reviewing project plans and specifications, scheduling, costs saving measures, discrepancies, potential construction problems, etc.
- Managing project timelines, risks and reporting
- Managing project budgets and advising on options to keep budget on track
- Chairing project meetings with clients and consultants
- Managing internal project administration including invoicing, variations, subconsultant management and contract risk
- Building the business through engagement, marketing and tendering activities
- Mentoring and supporting junior colleagues to grow and develop professionally
- Contract Administration & Acting as the Superintendent’s Representative to support the Superintendent;
- Writing Minutes for all meetings
- Drafting PSC Reports, Drafting Monthly reports for review by the AD or Director
Qualifications
- Administrative skills with strength in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) essential.
- Familiarity with Aconex advantageous.
- Familiarity with the Design Phase highly desirable.
- Construction Contract Administration experience highly desirable.
- Bachelor qualification in a construction related field, or intentions to do so. Bachelor Qualification in a different field but with a keen interest in construction or experience in a construction related field. Alternatively, 10+ year industry experience without Bachelor qualifications.
- Great communication skills, both written (including excellent spelling and grammar) and verbal are essential. English fluency to a native standard essential.
