About the Role

As the Manager, Data Migrations, you’ll lead a high-performing team responsible for delivering critical data migration services in a fast-paced, complex environment. Leveraging your expertise in data technologies and leadership, you’ll ensure the quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of our data migration landscape. You’ll also foster a culture of continuous improvement, mentoring your team to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Focus

  • Develop data migration strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Support the Corporate Markets technology roadmap and programs.
  • Drive continuous improvement across data migration and ETL processes.
  • Optimize team performance and deliver cost-efficient outcomes.

People Leadership

  • Build and lead a high-performing team, ensuring technical expertise and engagement.
  • Identify and address training needs to upskill team members.
  • Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and support career development.

Operational Management

  • Oversee ETL processes across multiple platforms and ensure high-quality data migrations.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure timely delivery of migration services.
  • Develop and document test procedures to achieve accurate reconciliation and business outcomes.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to ETL tools and processes.

Governance & Risk

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and security requirements.
  • Own and resolve risk and audit items related to data migration.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to best practices.

About You
To excel in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Proven leadership and people management skills in a complex environment.
  • Expertise in delivering data migration initiatives, with strong stakeholder management.
  • Solid technical experience with data migration tools such as Oracle, SQL, and Informatica essential
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management abilities.
  • A collaborative approach with excellent communication skills.

Preferred Technical Experience

  • In-depth understanding of database architectures, data validation, and ETL processes.
  • Knowledge of structured programming methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience with data cleaning, updating, and management techniques.
