About the Role
T
he role focusses on operational delivery of Telstra Field Optimisation SOW activities, ensuring safe, reliable and consistent delivery to plans. Responsibilities include:

  • Provide leadership and direction to field team members to deliver the program of works, and support the Network Operations Centre (NOC) and the Service Delivery Centre in managing reactive and corrective maintenance activities
  • Provide oversight and supervision to subcontractor works
  • Develop and maintain strong collaborative working relationship with the key stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance to Work Instructions (WIs), Method of Procedures (MOPs) or plans provided by the TFO SOW's Project Managers to eliminate the likelihood of any Service Disruptions
  • Deliver in accordance with the requirements of the TFO as defined by each SOW
  • Implement change management initiatives where required

Required Skills and Experience
To be successful in your application your experience will ideally include:

  • Electrical and/or trades qualification (or significant field-based experience in telecommunication power)
  • Project Management qualification (Fundamentals or Cert IV) desirable
  • Experience working within an Operations & Maintenance (O&M) environment
  • Experience working within a Telstra in a ticket-of-work environment preferred
  • Track record of constructive & effective client relationship management with client operational representatives
  • Sound computer skills
