PR Specialist - Sydney - Full time

We are seeking a creative PR Specialist to join our award winning PR team in our Sydney office. Reporting to the Senior PR Manager you will play a pivotal role in the day to day running of our press office and execute PR campaigns that creatively and uniquely position Domain within the property media landscape. Who are you?

You are a passionate PR professional or journalist who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You are a fresh thinker, news junkie and expert in understanding the media landscape. Working closely with our Senior PR Manager and Head of Communications, business stakeholders and spokespeople, you will deliver key messages and drive differentiation for the brand within the media during key business and seasonal moments. The ideal candidate will:

●Nurture and enhance Domain’s existing media relationships and partnerships and seek out new opportunities to reach broader audiences.

●Have a finger on the pulse with property and home content, general news, and wider social-economic issues that may shape media opportunities in our field.

●Love to come up with a creative news angle, pitch stories and see them come to life in the media

●Collaborate with business and stakeholders to understand objectives and projects, to ensure work is aligned.

●Monitor the media landscape across relevant topics and engage in business strategy and marketing objectives related to PR opportunities.

●Have a growth mindset, are a quick thinker with an interest in analysing data in a PR context.

You have:

●Minimum 4 years in PR / Communications or journalism, ideally within a medium to large company or at an agency.

●Proven ability to analyse complex data and convert to simple accessible communications, such as media releases, media pitches and spokesperson briefing documents

●Experience managing media monitoring, updating media databases and creating monthly and campaign reporting

●Outstanding written communication skills (clear, articulate and engaging).

●Excellent organisational skill and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
