About the opportunity

The position is a permanent part time 60 hours a fortnight position working a rotating roster involving On Call once a fortnight and In Charge one weekend in four. There are six other ANUM's for support and flexibility with rostering needs along with the Nurse Unit Manager and full time Educator for support. MHW has 4 theaters with a 24 hour Emergency theater and permanent Night Duty staff, we cover the areas of Gynaecology, uro-Gynaecology ,Oncology, Reproductive Gynaecology, Endo Surgery and Obstetrics.

Most importantly, you are committed to delivering exceptional patient-centred care through out the surgical journey and have a passion and interest in women's Health. We require a great communicator able to provide effective leadership to the Perioperative Team with a knowledge of Obstetrics and Gynaecology highly desirable.

  • A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.

  • The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

  • A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.

  • Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
