About the role

Drive the construction of design deliverables under guidance from senior engineering & management staff also ensuring the technical matters associated with Project works are compliant with technical specifications, applicable legislation, approved standards, and Project SQE Risk Management processes. Lead and assist in the review and planning the project with the SPE, Construction Manager and Area Managers and to ensure technical aspects of job are clear and to become familiar with contractual arrangements made with client. Provide leadership, direction & supervision to all team members and liaise with Construction Managers/Area Managers to ensure job is on schedule on Site. Coordination of site activities with focus on Fibre cable install, splicing & testing, DRS radio sites, ERS & ETCS communication equipment installation & testing & onsite management of subcontractors. 70% office-based and 30% site based activity.

About You 

Bachelor of Electrical Engineering A minimum of 8 years’ experience in the Rail industry or similar fields Excellent communication skills both written & oral with a strong ability to negotiate & influence Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast paced environment with multiple and competing demands.
