**The Role**:
CDC NSW is looking for confident and energetic Bus Marshals to provide customer service support to the community at OPTUS Centre and on special events. Our Bus Marshals are first point of contact for our passengers and will assist them in finding and boarding the correct buses and manage the flow of passengers to ensure services leave on time.

This is a permanent part time opportunity offering between 20 hours per week and weekend work for special events.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

- Using the Marshall sheet accurately document required timings, incidents and complaints
- Communicate effectively with passengers to ensure they board the correct bus for their destination.
- Provide OCC with any information or observations that may assist.
- Responding to passengers’ enquiries with relevant information
- Communicate with other Operators, drivers, depot and other staff working in conjunction within the bus network.
- Reporting major concerns with respect to passenger levels, traffic conditions and accidents.

**About You**:
Skills, attributes and experience which are essential to succeed in this role:

- Holding a valid NSW Drivers Licence
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- An ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work autonomously and operate iPad and two-way radio for communication
