As a Program Leader at Better Health Network, you will play a pivotal role in driving the Indigenous Access program within the Client Services portfolio. Your responsibilities will include providing strategic direction, fostering collaboration with stakeholders, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, culturally sensitive services to Indigenous communities.

Responsibilities

Leadership and Teamwork: Provide leadership, supervision, and support to multidisciplinary teams, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and values.

Communication and Relationships: Build and maintain operational relationships with clients, volunteers, and stakeholders, with a focus on the Indigenous community.

Governance and Planning: Support program planning and implementation, ensuring compliance with organisational standards and objectives.

Service Delivery and Client Experience: Support staff in achieving high-quality client outcomes and contribute to long-term program growth and development.

Culture, Engagement, and Diversity: Promote a culture of trust, collaboration, and accountability within the team. Provide support and guidance to staff, encouraging professional development and diversity.

Risk Management and Compliance: Support and manage a culture of quality, safety, and compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

Research and Service Development: Identify research opportunities and oversee resource allocation for research activities. Contribute to the development of culturally sensitive service delivery methods and protocols.

About you

  • Bachelor of Health Sciences or Bachelor in Community Health.
  • Current Victorian Driver’s license.
  • Understanding of issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
  • Experience in leadership and team development.
  • Knowledge of best practices in assessment, care planning, and service delivery.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
