About You :

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or recognised equivalent
  • AHPRA certification
  • NDIS worker screen
  • Working with Childrens Check
  • National Drivers licence and insured vehicle

Position Summary :

Enabled Designs provides allied health services in the home and community to people of all ages and abilities to improve everyday living and maximise independence. Enabled Designs are leaders in finding solutions for complex challenges through collaborative, high quality and innovative allied health services that support people to achieve meaningful lives.

As an Occupational Therapist with Enabled Designs, you are responsible for providing occupational therapy services to our clients and their families, working with the client's care team to assess, set goals, develop solutions, provide interventions and evaluate client outcomes.

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who is: 

  • Innovative and creative, using thorough assessment and occupational analysis skills as well as your creative thinking to address our client's needs. 
  • Occupation focused and team-oriented, having a strong client focus, and ability to work collaboratively alongside your client's support team to achieve great outcomes. 
  • Motivated and a change maker, driven by strong work ethic, high organisational skills, and a commitment to achieving positive client outcomes. 

This role in the Health Professional and Support Service Award 2020 is classified as Health Professionals employee Level 2.

Key Requirements :

  • Ability to work within a team and autonomously
  • Specific skills required in assessment, occupational analysis, goal setting, developing intervention plans and evaluating client outcomes
  • Demonstrated time management and organisational skills and the ability to coordinate an assigned caseload
  • Demonstrated effective and professional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and provide patient-centred practice
  • Demonstrated ability to being punctual, reliable and committed
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft office suite, OT drawing programs, client management software
  • Demonstrated ability to follow direction and take initiative
  • Knowledge of the NDIS desirable
