About Us :

We are an occupational therapy and physiotherapy clinic working with kids, teens and young adults. We have 14 therapists and have clinics in Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. We have been growing steadily and need to try and streamline our HR processes and provide a better direction for KPIs and performance reviews. We are passionate about providing a great therapy service and want to ensure we provide great training and a career structure for our staff.

About You :

  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent
  • Current Drivers License and own transport
  • Level 2 First Aid Certificate
  • National Police Check

Position Summary :

As a paediatric Occupational Therapist you are responsible for effectively providing assessment and therapy to a range of children, teens and young adults with a wide range of therapy needs and goals. You are responsible to the provision of therapy that is goal directed and evidence based.

Job Responsibility :

  • Learn and administer occupational therapy services following the guidelines of Optimum Movement
  • Administer occupational therapy assessments, develop and implement therapy plans, under supervision as required
  • Complete goal setting for every client that can be pinned to the top of clinical notes
  • Monitor, evaluate and review progress and therapy plans
  • Develop resources to support the programmes
  • Undertake appropriate professional development, including self-reflection
  • Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic therapy programs
  • If required, undertake research into case studies and examples
  • Commitment to meeting client and organisational expectations
  • Adopt and embrace the companies values and philosophy
  • Ensure the environment is kept in a safe and hygienic state at all times
  • Commitment to work as an effective team member
  • Promote the company and it’s interests to the local and wider community
  • Ensure all communication is completed in a professional and polite manner, to all internal and external stakeholders
