Our multidisciplinary team is looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist who is living anywhere in Victoria and looking to take the next step in their career. The right person will need to be able to demonstrate their ability to effectively lead and mentor other Occupational Therapists in a multidisciplinary team environment.

This can be a full-time or part-time position.

About the role

As this is a critical role withinin our broader multidisciplinary team structure, your well-established clinical and people management skills will not only see you make a significant impact on the lives of your clients but also support both the ongoing development and expansion of our occupational therapy team.

Some of the responsibilities for the successful candidate will include...

  • Leading a team of clinicians to embrace Outcomes Connect Australia's vision to deliver evidence-based, outcome-focused allied health services which enable clients and their significant others to live their best lives
  • Monitoring and developing the performance of clinicians, supporting them to optimise clinical practice and client outcomes, along with managing their performance to KPIs
  • Providing specialist clinical services to clients in a community-based setting upholding the values of client empowerment, choice and control, and strengths-based practice
  • Leading continuous improvement opportunities that promote ongoing improvements within Outcomes Connect Australia's clinical practice
  • Leading management processes, quality assurance projects, teaching and research responsibilities

About you

To be considered suitable you will have...

  • Considerable experience as an Occupational Therapist
  • A passion for being a leader in your field and delivering quality evidence-based therapeutic interventions
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication (verbal and written), and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in leading, as well as providing training and supervision, to other occupational therapists
  • Experience providing services under the NDIS would be an advantage but is not essential
  • Drivers licence and your own reliable vehicle

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified Occupational Therapist
  • Current full registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Able to obtain a Medicare provider number
