The Opportunity
We’re hiring an Accounting Administrations Officer in our Perth office who will assist with the full Accounts Payable and some Accounts Receivable processes. This is a great role for you to be team player, utilise your great eye for detail, and enjoy the analysis aspect that comes with this role. You will have the opportunity to identify areas for efficiencies and improvements as well.
What you’ll be doing day-to-day
- Processing basic and routine functions related to Accounts Payable and/or Account Receivable including invoicing, processing of payments, performing bank reconciliations, attending to internal and external account queries and preparing related documentation and correspondence.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial compliance and accuracy.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
What you’ll bring to this role
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and have proven experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment and work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Understanding of Excel spreadsheets, data analysis and reconciliation procedures
- Good understanding of digital trends and web/mobile technologies, and ability to evaluate the applicability for business solutions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Must have high level of attention to detail and high level of creativity.
