About the Role

The Manager of Group Performance Management is a managerial role and is responsible for providing performance reporting to the Board and Executive management and for ensuring accurate and timely delivery of ASX MD&A reporting for the Group. You will be the accountable owner for the management, implementation, and communication of the Group’s management reporting frameworks and timetables to ensure timely and accurate reporting of Budgets, Forecasts including, but not limited to, Executive committee and Board reporting.

You will manage the day to day activities of a performance reporting analyst together with interaction and management of the relationship with internal finance business partners and other group stakeholders, to deliver the groups performance reporting. Working in a matrix structure you will be supported by a team of finance business partners and financial accountants, so strong leadership and team collaboration skills will be required. This role is focused on performance reporting so will require the ability to present financial information to senior management and other stakeholders together with a continuous improvement mindset in order to enhance the end-to-end reporting process.

Key Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Manage and lead the preparation, coordination and communication of the annual Performance management time table
  • Lead the month end process from a performance management perspective by preparing, coordinating and presenting the month end profit and loss result to the CFO
  • Lead the production of the monthly finance result presentation pack and CFO Board reports
  • Lead the planning, co-ordination and production of half-year and year end ASX reporting such as Management Discussion and Analysis section of the Interim and Annual report
  • Prepare competitor analysis presentation packs
  • Collaborating with Finance Business Partners to problem solve and reconcile where necessary
  • Prepare ad-hoc management information including but not limited to one-off pieces of analysis and management presentations

About you

Key experience and competencies for this role include:

  • CA/CPA qualified (or international equivalent) with 7+ years post qualification experience
  • Financial Services expertise preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in Business partnering and performance reporting
  • Demonstrated experience applying accounting standards
  • Strong stakeholder engagement capabilities across all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with influence
  • Experience operating and delivering results in a matrix environment and leveraging relationships to
  • influence and drive outcome
  • Business and commercial acumen, credibility, reputation and proven track record of success
  • Curious mindset with a view to implement continuous improvement
