At St Mary’s children have the opportunity to grow and learn as part of a supportive and extended community. 

We are conveniently located at Assisi College, and we care for children from six weeks and offer a Queensland Government approved kindergarten program for children in the year before prep.

About the Opportunity
We are looking for an exceptional Lead Educator to join our team at St Mary's. We are looking for someone who can Lead and work collaboratively with their assistant in preparing programs for the children based on their interests and needs. You will receive programming time each week. If this sounds like you, we would love for you to apply.

Hours: Full time or Part time hours available 
Remuneration: as per the Children’s Services Modern Award 2010. Level 4.1 to Level 4.3 depending on qualifications and experience - Above Award rates.
  
Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver a high quality, inclusive, educational program
  • Support children to grow and develop and are committed to seeing them learn and have fun in a happy, safe and nurturing environment.
  • Participate in professional and personal development.
  • Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare’s expectations and educational philosophy.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma qualification recognised by ACECQA, or Working Towards
  • First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
  • Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework & the National Quality Standard
  • Effective workplace communication skills
