We are seeking an exceptional Lead Educator to join our team at St Mary\u2019s Long Day Care + Kindergarten. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and working collaboratively with your assistant to prepare programs for the children based on their interests and needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver a high-quality, inclusive, educational program
  • Support children to grow and develop and are committed to seeing them learn and have fun in a happy, safe, and nurturing environment.
  • Participate in professional and personal development.
  • Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare\u2019s expectations and educational philosophy.

Requirements:

  • Diploma qualification recognized by ACECQA, or Working Towards
  • First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates
  • Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework & the National Quality Standard
  • Effective workplace communication skills
