We do more than collect the bin from your street, we also convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet inhouse and have our own bespoke technology systems.

ABOUT THIS ROLE
As a JJ’s Accounts Receivable Officer, you will support our depot operations in based from our Townsville depot.
You will be experienced, reliable and able to provide efficient day-to-day administration support to the team. Working in a dynamic environment, you will have the ability to learn quickly, demonstrate a willingness to undertake any task at hand, and have excellent problem solving and time management skills.
We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.
This position is a permanent, full-time, onsite, Monday to Friday.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the day-to-day Accounts Receivable functions
- Debt Collection
- Monthly account reconciliations and customer reporting
- Assisting with monitoring high volume ledgers
- Accurate data entry
- Administration duties
- Customer bookings
- Investigation of customer credit requests
- Plan and schedule work in orders to comply with KPI requirements
- Ensure the highest standards of customer service are met by effectively managing customer queries via telephone and emails in a timely manner
- Ad hoc duties associated with being part of a dynamic and evolving company
ABOUT YOU
- Experience in Accounts Receivable Administration
- Exceptional communication and organisation skills
- Excellent data entry skills and an eye for detail
- Well-developed time management skills to achieve proficiency and effectiveness in managing the workload and priorities and meeting deadlines
- Be dedicated and reliable; we are an essential service industry
- Demonstrate the ability to build rapport and relationships with all stakeholders
- Want to be part of a culture of learning and continuous improvement
