We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team at Michael Page Australia. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for managing the entire accounts receivable process, from invoice generation to payment processing and reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities
- Invoice Management: Generate and send accurate and timely invoices to customers, ensuring seamless financial transactions.
- Payment Processing: Record and process incoming payments, including cash, checks, and electronic transfers, ensuring they are applied correctly to customer accounts.
- Account Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile accounts receivable records with bank statements and internal records to resolve discrepancies and ensure financial accuracy.
- Customer Communication: Address and resolve inquiries or issues related to billing and payments from customers, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all transactions, including invoices, payments, and correspondence, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Reporting: Prepare and analyze reports on accounts receivable status, including outstanding balances and trends, to inform business decisions and drive financial growth.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, with expertise in invoice management, payment processing, and account reconciliation.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions and record-keeping, excellent organizational and time-management skills, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
