The Role:

We seek the services of a self-motivated, trade qualified person to join our team as a Maintenance Mechanic, who has what it takes to work in a fast paced yet rewarding working environment.  

This role will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the site’s mechanical bottling line and automotive fleet (outside of scheduled dealer servicing arrangements). In addition, this role involves ensuring that safety and quality controls are of the highest level in relation to the maintenance and operation of all mechanical and automotive processes onsite. The role also encompasses the ordering of required mechanical and automotive parts (as required) and managing fleet administration.

This role would suit someone with strong mechanical aptitude, who has great work ethic and excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

This role will be a full-time position, reporting to the CEO and will predominantly work Monday to Friday, with some weekend work required from time to time. This is salaried position ranging from $73K-$83K per year, depending on the skills, knowledge and experience of the successful candidate.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

  1. Ensuring all mechanical processes associated with the site bottling line are operating effectively.
  2. Ensuring all vehicles and equipment are serviced and maintained to the highest safety standards.
  3. Diagnosing and providing the company with advice regarding mechanical issues.
  4. Managing and booking required fleet deliveries.
  5. Ensure all fleet administration is managed and up to date.

Skills and Experience required:

  1. Mechanical trade/tertiary qualification 
  2. At least 2 years’ experience in mechanical servicing and maintenance.
  3. Prior experience in employee management.
  4. Competence in Microsoft Office suite, willingness to learn basic tasks
  5. Problem solving skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
