Join the DXC team and contribute to bringing DXC’s claims management expertise to icare and the people of New South Wales.
As Work Capacity Specialist you will be responsible for working alongside the internal Claims Operations teams to provide expert guidance and support in Work Capacity and Section 38. In addition, the role includes the completion of Internal Reviews as well as supporting capability uplift through coaching, training and Quality Reviews.
Responsibilities and duties
Engaging with claims operation teams by offering expert guidance in work capacity and section 38 through tailored advice
Develop and utilise reporting, procedures and resources to drive outcomes and increase capability
Complete internal reviews of work capacity decisions in line with the legislative requirements
Complete quality reviews to identify areas for development and implement actions to address capability or process improvements
Coaching and training delivery to support capability uplift across case managers, decision reviewers and leaders
Creating and maintaining strong relationships with internal customers through proactive engagement and support
Required skills, experience and qualifications
Strong experience in work capacity, claims and injury management
Strong analytical, evaluation, and problem-solving skills to deliver innovative solutions
Excellent organisational ability including the use of effective time management and prioritisation while having strong stakeholder management skills
Experience working in a demanding, high volume and deadline driven environment
Great attention to detail and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Team player who likes to work collaboratively but can also work independently
