Quantity Surveyor

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all costs related to construction projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. You will play a crucial role in helping our company maintain financial control throughout the entire construction process. Your attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong communication skills will be essential in this role, as you will collaborate with various stakeholders including architects, contractors, and suppliers.
Responsibilities- Prepare accurate estimates and cost plans for construction projects.
- Evaluate and negotiate costs related to materials, labor, and equipment.
- Provide cost advice and assistance during the pre-construction and contract phase.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor and assess costs, ensuring adherence to budget.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop effective cost control measures.
- Review and analyze project specifications and drawings to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Prepare financial reports and forecasts to support decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and codes.
- Proficiency in relevant software, such as cost estimation and project management tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize projects effectively.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
