About the role

We’re seeking a Senior Manager Treasury – Funding with proven experience in providing leadership and assisting in the planning, management, execution, monitoring and stakeholder management of funding activities.

You’ll join an innovative team with broad expertise that works with complex financing structures across a broad range of projects and jurisdictions.

Transurban manages a significant debt portfolio with a variety of financial risks across numerous maturities, instruments, currencies and counterparties.

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Lead and assist the execution of select funding tasks in accordance with the Funding Plan

  • Ensure funding tasks are undertaken in compliance with the Treasury Policy

  • Be involved in Group development projects, including deal execution and analysis of proposed funding and structural solutions

  • Access the impacts on credit metrics and ratings targets

  • Lead components of the Group’s Capital Strategy development and management, with the preparation of the debt and equity funding plans

This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:

  • Proven Treasury management experience, ideally within Corporate and/or Banking, with particular experience in loan financing and/or debt capital markets

  • Experienced Corporate Finance managers with exposure to funding transactions and M&A, preferably in infrastructure

  • Understanding of debt and equity markets, and risks associated with financing activities

  • Leading projects with an understanding of al funding plans and balance sheet stress testing

  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel skills with a good understanding of modelling, with knowledge of interest coverage ratios & cash flow analysis

  • Relevant tertiary education and professional qualifications
