Work within our International Finance Team to support our offshore business units by driving governance and continuous improvement projects.

Take ownership of finance related activities including transactional finance activities, month end close and international reporting requirements for particular offshore business portfolios.

On a day-to-day basis our International Finance Team, working in a centralised Finance function, you will be a key contact and a trusted partner to a wide range of stakeholders across the business. As the Assistant Financial Accountant , you will be particularly responsible for providing support to the senior finance team members and wider offshore teams by performing accounting tasks including balance sheet reconciliations, financial reporting and tax compliance. This role will also be involved in transactional finance tasks including managing and monitoring bank accounts, processing and managing invoices and resolving any issues as queries arise.

You'll have:

Certificate III or IV in a relevant discipline and 3+ years relevant experience

Experience using relevant finance systems (Oracle R12 & Essbase)

Strong communication skills with stakeholders at all levels

Motivated self-starter with questioning mind/ analytical skills

Strong attention to detail

Demonstrates initiative to solve problems and instigate continuous improvement projects

Strong interpersonal, written, verbal and communication skills

Ability to speak fluent Spanish or French (highly desirable)
