The product organization is at the core of Airwallex, bringing together commercial strategy, engineering, design, and financial compliance to deliver Airwallex’s product suite to our global customers. Responsibilities

  • Pricing and execution integrations with global financial institutions

  • Price construction and distribution (via all channels)

  • FX risk and position management

  • FX platform gateway to expose capabilities to the broader Airwallex FX solution set, and to other product domains within the business

    • Examples here include FX solutions embedded within our Payment Acquiring, Issuing, GTPN, Billing / Spend, and FX Solutions capabilities

Requirements

  • 5 to 10 years of overall professional experience 

  • Experience in product management, go-to-market propositions, product design, product planning and development

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or another STEM discipline

  • Evidence of exemplary academic achievements (e.g. high GPA, Dean’s list, scholarship etc.) 

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey product strategy to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Close attention to detail, ability to structure complex problems and inform decisions with data and first-principle insights

  • Drive, grit, and persistence to take ownership and move ideas to reality in short periods of time

  • Ability to thrive in cross-cultural and cross-functional teams

  • Experience considering both user requirements and commercial strategy in order to drive meaningful product growth

  • ​​Experience in any of the following is a plus: hyper growth startup environments, software engineering, financial technology

  • Solid technical understanding and ability to engage in architectural discussions with engineering teams

  • Hands-on with online payments or similar B2B domains with high conceptual complexity
