As a result of our growth and the continued diversity of our operations, we are currently looking for a Transport Compliance Lead to join the team. Based in Beresfield.

Requirements

To be considered you would have:

Mandatory:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a Transport Compliance, Transport Driver, Allocator or other transport / heavy haulage related role.
  • Proven hands-on experience working under and/or in maintaining NHVAS accreditations.
  • Strong knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) regulations and safe work practices.
  • Have experience working directly with heavy vehicle drivers.
  • Experience working with Transport Subcontractors.
  • Ability to advise on NHVAS matters including compliance with relevant statutory requirements.
  • Ability to complete non-compliance, incident reporting and investigations.
  • Competent computer skills (Outlook (email), Excel, Word).
  • Strong administration skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and motivate people.
  • Ability to problem solve and make effective decisions.
  • Current Australian Driver’s License.

Desirable:

  • Experience working with:
  • GPS tracking software and/or
  • Telematic system (e.g. Teletrac Navman / TN360).
  • Experience leading and/or participating in audits.
  • Experience in supporting the maintenance of management systems.
  • Experience using the NHVR Portal.
