About the Role

In this role you will plan and manage the curation for main page and Adults content on ABC iview. Curating and optimising metadata and levers to highlight priorities, showcase breath of catalogue to drive ratings for both platform and titles.

Under broad direction of the Senior Manager Programming & Streaming – Adults, and working closely with the Programming and Platform & Metadata teams you will:

Optimise curation by frequent reviewing of ABC iview content mix, informed by performance analysis & programming priorities. Manage and drive the daily creation and implementation of plans, including maintenance of ABC iview planning documents, launch publishing and metadata entry, to optimise search and personalisation. Utilise rails, rail titles, playlists and other levers to curate collections and audience offerings, prioritising content in line with content strategy. Optimise metadata to constantly improve personalisation connections, and work with Metadata & Platform team to continuously improve functionality and efficiency.

About You

We are looking for a Streaming Manager with significant knowledge and skills in program scheduling, rights, and operational requirements. You will have exceptional experience implementing distribution procedures and programming strategies.

You will bring:

An expert ability to analyse complex information and research and compile information of a specialist nature. Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to communicate both written and verbally in a clear and concise manner. Demonstrated significant team leadership experience with ability to mentor and motivate staff. Outstanding organisational and time management skills and demonstrated ability to provide effective operational support whilst working within a deadline.
