As an Aussie Broadband Accountant, you will play an important role as a member of our finance team. To be successful in this role you will possess:
A qualified Chartered accountant/CPA qualification.
Experience gained in an audit firm.
High energy, able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a professional attitude.
Outstanding attention to detail.
Outstanding personal organisation, communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
How will you support our “Why?”
Joining a high performing team, your responsibilities will include:
Delivery of accurate and timely month-end close including analysis, reconciliations, and reporting;
Accurate and timely preparation/maintenance of balance sheet reconciliations as allocated;
Ensurign all day-to-day transactions are accounted for in the company’s accounting system on a timely basis and in accordance with company policies and procedures;
Assisting the Finance Manager to ensure a controlled, efficient and timely production of half year and full year statutory financial reports and their compliance with statutory reporting and ASX reporting obligations;
Supporting external audit and review process and other compliance submissions including preparation of notes to financial statements and preparing information required by the auditors as allocated;
Assisting with preparation of monthly management reporting pack, including liaising with business departments to understand drivers and preparing analysis to support month-end results.
Being an active member of the Finance Team to create and lead the implementation of new processes and collection of necessary data to meet reporting requirements.
Preparation and submission of Indirect taxes (FBT, BAS, IAS).
