The teaching position

Permanent

Full-time (1.0 FTE)

Commencing Term One 2025

We are seeking applications from suitably qualified teachers who have the capacity to deliver the following VET courses.

  • Business Services

  • Retail

  • Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways

Applicants should be enthusiastic, collegial, collaborative, flexible and prepared to deliver these VET courses in an innovative teaching and learning environment, and have:

  • a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

  • a deep understanding of curriculum and pedagogy.

  • a capacity to integrate technology innovatively to enhance teaching and learning within the Canvas Learning Management System.

  • a willingness to mentor a group of students to provide support and guidance throughout their learning journey. 

About you:

  • Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation - Working with Children Check clearance

  • Tertiary Qualification in Education

  • Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) - conditionally accredited teachers and new graduates are welcome to apply

  • Demonstrated knowledge or experience on student wellbeing focused programs and/or initiatives

  • Sound knowledge of and commitment to our Catholic faith and mission in Catholic education.

The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment including, a valid Working with Children Check and adoption and compliance with CSPD’s Child Safeguarding Procedures and Code of Conduct When Working With Students and Children.
