 The position

We have a fantastic opportunity available for a Case Worker to work as part of a specialist team in regional NSW. The successful applicant will play a key role in the delivery of case support to companions with complex needs, delivering holistic and sustainable case plans, meeting the outcomes required of the program and the person. You will assist in building individual capacity to enable people to live an ordinary life, helping them to make optimum choices, enhancing their living skills and confidence, and gaining access to mainstream services.

Please note this is a Fixed Term contract for 12 months.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have the ability to communicate with people at all levels in a manner that conveys genuine concern for the wellbeing of the individual. You will have a high-level understanding of the challenges faced by those experiencing homelessness and disadvantage.

You will have well developed communications skills along with a proactive, collaborative mindset and a demonstrated resilience and capacity to adapt to change and sometimes challenging environments.

Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in community service in a similar or related role and a current drivers licence will be required.

  • Salary packaging option up to $15,900 per FBT year, with an additional Meals and Entertainment package available up to $2,650 per FBT year
