Your Key Responsibilities as a Workshop Coordinator:
Lead and motivate your team to achieve safety and operational excellence. Coordinate resources to meet project deadlines and ensure quality control. Oversee daily workshop operations, including pre-start meetings and monthly inspections. Provide on-the-job training, fostering a culture of continuous learning. Liaise with the maintenance team to adapt and improve the scope of work. Ensure workshop safety and compliance with all company procedures. Who we’re looking for:
We’re seeking talented individuals with:
A trade-qualified professional (Mechanical/Electrical). A leader with at least 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role within a workshop setting. A critical thinker with strong business acumen and problem-solving skills. A person who can juggle multiple priorities and deadlines while keeping a clear focus on safety and performance. Someone with the energy and drive to lead by example and influence positive outcomes. Who We Are

Bis is a leader in the underground coal mining industry, owning the largest fleet of Underground Hire Equipment. We offer both casual and long-term hire of equipment such as Load Haul Dump (LHD) Machines, Graders, and Personnel Transporters, as well as Longwall Move Equipment like Mules, Heavy Lift LHDs, Pan Pickers, and Dozers.
Our Diesel and Electrical Services Division provides complete equipment overhauls, scheduled servicing, and machine repairs. With workshop-based and field service crews, we’re equipped to meet our customers’ needs, wherever they are.
