Your planning expertise will ensure seamless transitions from strategy to execution, keeping Australia's mining operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities
Lead the tactical planning process, including coordinating the monthly S&OP and oversee the rolling 4-week tactical plan within the 12-week period to ensure alignment of asset availability, labour capacity, and workshop needs. Coordinate the weekly planning meeting and collaborate with the workshop scheduler to ensure a seamless transition from planning to execution, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.  Ensuring internal and external workshops deliver according to operational schedules. Optimise resource allocation based on asset maintenance schedules, job complexity, and fluctuating customer demand. Coordinate lessons-learned reviews monthly, driving continuous improvement initiatives. Provide insight into long-term capacity planning, influencing future strategies and workforce development.

What You'll Need
5+ years of experience in a planning or scheduling role. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Experience in maintenance management systems (JDE preferred) and a commitment to driving operational success.
Who is Bis?

Bis own the largest fleet of Underground Hire Equipment in the Coal Mining Industry. We provide casual and long-term hire of run of mine equipment including Load Haul Dump (LHD) Machines, Graders, and Personnel Transporters. Bis also provide casual and long-term hire of Longwall Move Equipment including Mules, Heavy Lift Load Haul Dump Machines, Pan Pickers and Dozers, ensuring greater security and flexibility while preserving valuable capital for our clients.

Our Diesel and Electrical Services Division offer complete equipment overhauls, scheduled servicing and machine repairs using the workshop base, and field service crews equipped to operate autonomously at the site of the customer.

Uniquely tasked with growing the business further, Bis are looking to further the footprint in the Underground Industry with a wide selection of equipment purchases in the future.
