Lifestyle Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, plan, and deliver diverse recreational and social activities tailored to the interests and needs of residents.
  • Collaborate with residents, families, and staff to identify individual preferences and ensure personalised care.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of lifestyle programs, making adjustments as needed to improve resident engagement and satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals to integrate lifestyle activities with residents’ care plans.
  • Manage and oversee the scheduling and organisation of events, ensuring all activities are well-organised and properly resourced.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the community, encouraging resident participation and interaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, attendance, and feedback, providing regular reports to management.

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or a related field (or willingness to obtain).
  • Current police check & Statutory Declaration
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the aged care sector, with a strong understanding of the needs and preferences of older adults.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative and proactive approach to developing engaging activities and programs.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to improving the quality of life for elderly individuals.
