About the role:
This position is situated within the MacKillop National After Hours Services Unit which is responsible for providing high quality residential care that supports the emotional, social and behavioural care needs of vulnerable young people.
The After Hours Support Worker will provide support for young people, contribute to the development of a safe and nurturing environment for young people and assist young people to develop independent living skills.
This is a casual opportunity based in within our MacKillop National After Hours Service Program. The position reports to the Team Leader / Coordinator.
Key Selection Criteria:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in youth services or residential care;
- Ability to relate to and work with young people with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties;
- Ability to implement behaviour management plans for young people with challenging behaviours;
