We are thrilled to announce an exciting mining project that requires a dedicated team to commence at the Nathan River site. We are actively seeking Drillers with industry experience who are willing to travel to Darwin for transportation to the mining site. If you have the skills and qualifications we're looking for, we invite you to be part of this exciting opportunity.

Key responsibilities

  • Precision drilling to consistently meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Accurate and thorough completion of daily drill logs, pre-starts, and time sheets.
  • Upholding a steadfast commitment to safety while achieving production targets, utilizing safety protocols such as Take 5's and SWMS.
  • Maintaining rigs in impeccable condition, ensuring they are clean, organized, and primed for operation.
  • Diligent reporting of maintenance issues and meticulous record-keeping of consumables.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Prior experience in blast hole drilling operations or a strong desire to learn and grow in this field.
  • Possession of a Certificate III in Drilling Operations is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Sandvik DPi or Pantera rigs is preferred.
  • Proven track record of thriving in remote work environments.
  • Ability to obtain a national police check clearance 
  • Hold a current Australian Open Class Manual Drivers License.
  • Previous experience working a rostered lifestyle including night shifts
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment including a drug and alcohol
